Alissa Haber
School: Stanford University   Stats
  • Named as a first-team NFCA All-American, All-Pac-10 First Team and made the cut in 2009 as one of 25 finalists for USA Softball Player of the Year
  • One of 12 ESPN.com All-America selections while starting 59 games in left field for the Cardinal
  • Led the team in nearly every offensive category, pacing Stanford in batting average (.443), runs (61), hits (89), doubles (26), slugging percentage (.721) and on-base percentage (.507)
  • Posted the second-best single-season batting average in school history, falling only short of the .475 mark Jessica Mendoza recorded in 2000

Amber Flores
School: Oklahoma   Honors
  • Enters her senior season as a two-time All-American as well as a top 10 finalist for USA Softball’s Collegiate Player of the Year.
  • A three-time All-Big 12 performer including the 2009 Big 12 Player of the Year.  During her career so far she has been named Big 12 Player of the Week five times.
  • In 2009 she led the Sooners in almost every offensive category including home runs (18), walks drawn (49), slugging percentage (.872), and on-base percentage (.594).
  • Led team and Big 12 with a .416 batting average.  She also had 58 RBIs and scored 62 runs.
  • In 2009 she ranked second in the NCAA in on base percentage, fifth in runs per game, seventh in walks and slugging percentage, eighth in home runs,  and fifteenth in RBIs per game.
  • In the postseason, she led Oklahoma with a.412 batting average and .941 slugging percentage

  • Named Academic all-WAC and became first LA Tech softball player ever to be named WAC Player of the Year
  • Started 55 games in ’09 with a .488 batting average with 81 hits in 166 at-bats
  • Totaled 17 doubles, three triples and 17 home runs to go along with 41 runs and 62 RBIs and a .934 slugging percentage
  • Set LA Tech single season records in hits, home runs, RBIs, batting average and total bases

  • Led DePaul pitching staff with 26-9 record in 2009
  • Pitched 32 complete games with 8 shutouts in ‘09

  • As a batter in 2009: .338 average with 49 RBIs, 12 home runs, nine doubles and a .662 slugging percentage

  • Tabbed NFCA First Team All-American for the third-straight year, becoming the first Bulldog to earn first-team honors three times. Claimed NFCA/Diamond Sports Division I Catcher of the Year, All-SEC First Team Catcher, USA Softball Player of the Year Top 25 finalist for the second-straight year.
  • Won the adidas Golden Shoe Award from the NFCA for the top base stealer in Division I. An All-America Athlete of the Year selection from the National Strength Coaches Association.
  • Earned her second-straight ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America honor (2nd team) after claiming a second All-District First Team selection and third SEC Academic Honor Roll award.
  • Led the nation with 0.96 stolen bases per game after setting the school's single-season record (54-of-60) for the third time.
  • Bettered her own single-game steals record with five in a win over Louisiana-Monroe at the season-opening Bulldog Round-Robin.
  • Passed Iyhia McMichael for the MSU career steals record with 146, a total that ranks fourth in Southeastern Conference history.
  • Led the team with a school-record .486 batting average that ranked in the top-four nationally and paced the SEC.

  • Set career-highs in 2009 in several categories, including runs scored and stolen bases.  Finished the season 27-of-28 in stolen bases
  • Ranked first on the team with 66 assists during her junior season and started all 58 games possible at shortstop

Francesca Enea

  • NFCA/ Louisville Slugger Second-Team All-American in 2008 and 2009.
  • Easton First Team All-American in 2008 and 2009 and All- SEC Second Team in 2009.
  • WCWS All-Tournament Team in 2008.
  • USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year Top 25 Finalist in 2009
  • Holds seven records at Florida including single-season home runs (18), single-season RBIs (70), single-season sacrifice flies (6), single-season slugging percentage (.713), career home runs (41), career RBIs (156) and career sacrifice flies (11).
  • Ranks in the top 10 on 15 other single-season lists, and ranks in the top 10 on 8 other career lists at Florida.
  • Her 41 career homeruns ranks eighth in the SEC record book and has 5 career grand slams.

Liane Horiuchi
School: Purdue   Honors
  • In 2009, was a second team All-Big Ten selection at third base, first team Academic All-District V, and Academic All-Big Ten.
  • Started all 51 games, 35 at third base, 15 at shortstop and one at second base.
  • Led the team with a .348 average and a perfect 42 for 42 single-season record setting effort on the basepaths.
  • Ranked fourth nationally in hit by pitch per game (.41), fifth in stolen bases per game (.82), 33rd in on-base percentage (.500), 44th in triples (4) and 51st in runs per game (.84)
  • With Tennessee in 2007, played in all six games during the WCWS and hit .500 during the NCAA Regional.  Hit .238 as a Volunteer and posted a .969 fielding percentage.
  • While at Tennessee made the SEC All-Freshman team.

Melissa Roth

  • In 2009 was selected to the USA Softball Pan American Qualifier team, was a second team Louisville Slugger/NFCA All-American selection, a Louisville Slugger/NFCA All-Great Lakes Region selection and the 2009 Big East first team selection and Big East Player of the Year.
  • Started all 59 games at catcher and led the team with a .444 batting average and a .870 slugging percentage which set a school record in both categories.
  • Tied the school record for RBIs in a single season with 53 and set the single season runs record with 64.
  • As a sophomore was an All-Big East third team selection and led the team offensively with a .361 batting average, 43 runs (led the Big East), 20 doubles, 20 hit by pitches,  a .471 on-base percentage and nine stolen bases.

Molly Johnson
School: University of Kentucky   Stats
  • Selected to 2009 NFCA All-America Second Team, 2009 SEC First Team, 2009 All-SEC Tournament Team and 2009 All-Southeast Region team and earned All-SEC Academic team honors
  • Broke UK single-season records with 53 runs, 81 hits and a .498 on-base percentage
  • Ranks first all-time in UK history with a career batting average of .395
  • Finished 2009 with a .433 batting average, 34 RBIs, nine home runs, four triples, 14 doubles and 53 runs.
  • Has stolen 46 of 54 bases in her career so far at UK

Nikki Nemitz
School: University of Michigan   Honors
  • Named as one of 50 collegiate players in 2010 USA Softball Player of the Year preseason watch list
  • Selected as 2009 Big Ten pitcher of the year and NFCA All-America first team 
  • Led Michigan pitching staff with 28-7 record and 1.07 ERA
  • Boasted career highs in nearly all categories, including wins, strikeouts (306) and opponent average (.150), along with 12 double-digit strikeout games

Sam Marder
School: Ohio State   Honors
  • Finished the 2009 season with a .343 batting average with 39 runs scored, 19 homeruns & 43 RBI
  • Only committed three mistakes defensively for an outstanding .993 average
  • Named to the 2008 third team All-America squad.
  • Third all-time in OSU record books with 24 career home runs, third with 104 walks.
  • As a sophomore was a finalist for the USA Softball Player of the Year award.
  • In 2008 was all First-Team All-Big Ten and All-Great Lakes Region.
  • Led the league and nation in on base percentage (.635) and walks (60) and was second in the Big Ten in batting average (.478) and slugging percentage (.848).  Was third in the Big Ten in home runs with (14) and total bases (117).
  • As a freshman in 2007 was named First-Team All-Big Ten and all-region.
  • Was the first freshman ever to be named Ohio State’s Offensive Player of the Year (also named Rookie of the Year)
