Day One of the NPF Championship Series Rained Out
AKRON, Ohio - The stage was set for the NPF to display some of the best softball in the world Thursday night in Akron, Ohio with their Championship Series. Unfortunately, the league's top four teams were beat by Mother Nature. As game time approached, the clouds rolled in and a down pour ensued that washed away any hopes of playing softball.
Instead all four teams will play double headers Friday starting in the morning with theChicago Bandits facing the USSSA Pride at 10:00 AM. Shortly following the completion of that game the Akron Racers will go head to head with the Rockford Thunder. After a short break the regular double header of softball action will begin at 6:00 PM with Pride taking on Bandits.
