ROSEMONT, Ill. - With the goal of packing the park for a good cause, the Chicago Bandits announced Play it Forward night for Thursday, August 4, versus the Akron Racers.
The goal of “Play it Forward” night is to help children and families, that would not otherwise be able to attend a professional sporting event, come to watch the hometown Bandits take on the Racers.
The three “Play it Forward” night packages range from 15 tickets to a charity and a listing in that day’s game notes to 50 tickets to a charity, video board recognition and Club tickets for the donor.
Each ticket purchased as part of of the “Play it Forward” packages will be donated to a selected charity. Suggested charities include Bear Necessities, Make-a-Wish Foundation, Girls on the Run, Special Olympics of Illinois, Little Hero’s Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation, March of Dimes and more. Each purchaser can choose among the suggested charities or list which charity they would like the tickets to go to.
August 4 marks the first “Play it Forward” night in Chicago Bandits history.
