Another NPF Draftee, M.J. Knighten (Nebraska), became the first 2017 NPF Draftee to sign a contract with Scrap Yard Dawgs.  The 25th overall pick in the Draft, Knighten was a NFCA First-Team All-American, and standout infielder in the Big 10.

The NPF season opens on June 1, when the Chicago Bandits host the Akron Racers at The Ballpark at Rosemont. That opening game will be followed by the remaining 2017 NPF regular season contests, all featured on NPFTV.
