Rockville, Md. – EyeBlack, the company that started a sports revolution by combining logos, phrases and bible verses with EyeBlack, announced today they have inked a licensing deal with National Pro Fastpitch (NPF), becoming an official licensee of the only professional softball league in the United States. EyeBlack will create custom products for the league and its teams that can be worn by athletes in games, and used as promotional items to boost fan experiences at games and NPF events.
The licensing deal allows EyeBlack to produce its patent products with the NPF logo, and marks of the four teams in the league; Akron Racers, Carolina Diamonds, Chicago Bandits and USSSA Pride. In addition, players will be authorized to wear EyeBlack in games. NPF will utilize EyeBlack as a promotional tool to engage with fans through various initiatives including gate giveaways during their Championship Series (August 23 – August 26), and NPF’s Back to School tour which kicks-off in September and runs through December.

EyeBlack’s partnership with NPF continues its growth within professional softball. In March, Chicago Bandits pitcher Monica Abbott became a professional athlete ambassador for EyeBlack, collaborating with the company to design her own product line. In September 2011, EyeBlack inked a deal with softball superstar Jennie Finch, which served as the company’s first entrée in to the sport of women’s softball.
