Chicago Bandits to Host Holiday Camp on Dec. 30

ROSEMONT, Ill. – November 12, 2013 - The Chicago Bandits announced plans today for a trio of Holiday Clinic sessions that will be held at The Dome at the Ballpark (34 Jennie Finch Way, Rosemont, IL) on Monday, December 30, 2013.
The Bandits will offer three different sessions starting with an agility camp at 1 p.m.  The hour long session will include drills to improve foot speed and overall quickness.  The drills will be designed for easy incorporation into daily practices, games or workouts.
The agility clinic is open to both males and females and participants must be at least 10 years old.  The cost of the agility session will be $30/person.
Starting at 2:30 p.m. the Bandits will offer a skills camp for softball players of all ability and will be open to girls ages 10-18.  The player’s camp will be led by Bandits Head Coach Mike Steuerwald, as well as couple of Bandits players and will take players through a variety of drills.  Players will be broken up by ability in order to get the most out of the camp.
The player’s clinic will be $120/person and the registration fee includes three hours of instruction, a clinic t-shirt, pack of trading cards and a complimentary ticket to Opening Night 2014.
Finally, at 6:30 p.m. the Bandits will offer a Coaches Clinic.  The Coaches Clinic will run from 6:30 – 9 p.m. at The Dome and will be led by some of the areas best instructors, including Bandits players Tammy Williams and Amber Patton, Purdue Assistant Coach JT Gasso, 4-time IHSA Coach of the Year Kevin Hayhurst and Division I softball umpire Eric Mandley.
Participants can register for any of the holiday sessions by downloading the Holiday Clinic Form below and returning via mail, email or fax to the Bandits office.  Additional questions on the winter clinic sessions can be addressed to Mike Steuerwald at steuerwaldm@villageorrosemont.org.
