AKRON, Ohio - Due to lightning at Firestone Stadium in Akron, this evening’s 7:05 p.m. National Pro Fastpitch series opener between the Akron Racers and Arizona Heat has been suspended in the top of the seventh inning.

After six and two-thirds innings of play, Game one of the series is tied at 3-3. Play will resume where it left off Monday, June 14 at 7:05 p.m. at Firestone Stadium.

Game two of the series between Akron (5-3) and Arizona (3-6) will be played following the conclusion of Game one on Monday, June 14.
