Individual game tickets and mini-packages go on sale Monday morning (March 29) for the New England Riptide womens professional softball inaugural season, club owners Joe and Lauri Adlman, of Andover (MA), have announced.
The New England Riptide will play 30 home games at Martin Field in Lowell (MA), starting June 16 versus the Sacramento Sunbirds. The New England Riptides 60-game National Pro Fastpitch (NPF) regular season opens June 1 against the New York/New Jersey Juggernaut in Upper Montclair, New Jersey.
New England Riptide fans will see exciting games of softball played at the highest professional level, Joe Adlman said. Somebody who has never seen professional softball played will be hooked after attending his or her first New England Riptide game. The New England Riptide offers great entertainment in a safe, comfortable environment. Our ticket is the lowest priced at any level of major league professional sports by far.
The three other NPF teams are the Texas Thunder (Houston), Akron Racers, and Arizona Heat (Tucson). Major League Baseball is an official development partner.
New England Riptide season tickets, priced at $175, continue to be on sale. Individual game tickets are only $8.00 and mini-packages, which include four games, are available for $28. All seating is general admission. Tickets may be purchased by going on line at www.neriptide.com
